There are a wide range of booklets / pamphlets
available (and some videos and audio cassettes), some translated
into several languages. It is not appropriate for the woman with
breast cancer to be given all the available materials when she is
first diagnosed. Rather it is important that she and her family
and friends have access to the relevant materials at the time of
need.
Your Breast Care Nurse (BCN), or other members of your medical treatment
team, may be able to provide you with the relevant materials as
you need them. If they cannot, then the following organizations
provide a very wide range of resources, not all of which are individually
listed.
